TENNIS PROGRAMMES

Our team of highly qualified and motivated coaches cater for the needs of all those aspiring to improve their game.

Programmes range from “Tiny Tots” (3 to 5 years) through ”Kids” (6 years and upwards) to “Adults” – players in all categories can choose from small group or individual lessons.

Ace members (fitness and racquet sports) automatically become members of the famous, historical Memorial Drive Tennis Club and can choose from a wide range of options including Summer and Winter inter club competition (juniors and seniors).  These competitions are conducted primarily on Saturdays but throughout the week members can arrange their own hits or take part in organised social tennis activities.  Website:  www.mdtc.asn.au

The Schools Programme offers a wide range of possibilities including shortened and modified versions of the traditional game, drills and tennis skill related activities, private coaching and tournaments, all of which are designed to add variety to physical education and to establish a foundation for the future health of students.

ACADEMY

More advanced players can choose from the day programme catering for adults or those students doing school part time or by correspondence (20 hours per week, 4 hours per day) or the evening programme catering for full time school students (10 hours per week, 2 hours per day).

Both programmes include state-of-the-art video analysis using the award winning V1 Digital Coaching System, a weekly supervised gym/training session and the option of additional individual tennis sessions.

The overriding characteristic of our programmes is flexibility.  Through consultation with the tennis staff, students can not only take advantage of existing programmes but can participate in initiatives developed to service their specific requirements.

The Academy programme caters for a wide range of players ranging from talented juniors to aspiring tour players and full time professionals.
