Luke had an extremely interrupted professional career. From 1998 he missed 3 years suffering acute " Chronic Fatigue" before returning in 2000. In 2001 Luke was extraordinarily lucky to survive a broken neck suffered during a swimming mishap while playing tournaments in Spain, before returning in late 2002.
